  1. (#A) 19305 55th Ave, Chippewa Falls (R Tews Construction)

This was a 1950 era house built as a cabin, a basic 26’ x 44’ single story with detached garage. R. Tews Construction started by removing the detached garage and port area, gutted the cabin inside and outside, then added a 622 square foot addition to the front. This allowed the kitchen to gain 4 feet, plus build-out a 22’ x 22’ area with a master bedroom, bathroom, walk-in closet, and create a front foyer. Some of the space enlarged the hall bath and existing bedroom. On top of all that, there is a 24’ x 31’ attached two stall garage and a front porch with stone columns. Now this home appears to be a modern ranch that was built yesterday. Inside there is unique timber beams and columns, which really make a statement after entering the foyer. Along with a rich finish of custom cabinets and granite tops, this home has a fantastic visual, and it’s on the water’s edge of beautiful Lake Wissota. The features of this remodel include: 1,800 square foot project, unique design, custom cabinets, granite tops, hardwood floors, open concept, stone gas fireplace, custom mantle, metal spindles to accent the beams & railing, and steam shower in master bathroom.
